Our Services

Preparation first.
Paint second.

Anyone can apply paint. The difference between a job that lasts and one that fails is everything that happens before the first coat goes on. That's where we do our best work.

Our Speciality

Exterior Plaster & Crack Repair

Auckland has thousands of homes built with monolithic cladding: EPS foam board or AAC block finished with a plaster render, mostly from the 1990s and 2000s. They look sharp when they're well maintained, but they behave differently to weatherboard or brick, and they need specialist attention.

Cracks form as buildings settle and move, and as moisture works its way into the cladding. Left alone, a crack is an open door for water. And here's the part most people don't hear from their painter: painting over a crack doesn't fix it.

"Paint over a crack and it will be back within a year, usually worse. Repair it properly and the paint job lasts for years longer."

Where moisture is a concern, we bring in our trusted thermal imaging specialists at DryScan to find exactly what's happening inside the cladding before we start. No guesswork, no covering up problems.

Our repair process

Every crack repair follows the same disciplined process. No steps skipped.

1
Assess
Understand the cause, not just the crack. Moisture testing where needed.
2
Open
Open the crack out properly so the repair bonds to sound material.
3
Treat
Treat the underlying issue so it doesn't come back.
4
Fill
Fill and reinstate the plaster with the right repair system.
5
Prime
Seal and prime so the surface is genuinely ready for paint.
6
Paint
Only now does the paint go on, over a surface built to hold it.
Why it matters

Most painters paint over cracks. We fix them first.

It's the least visible part of the job and the most important. A properly repaired and prepared surface extends the life of an exterior paint job by years, protects the cladding underneath, and saves you from paying for the same work twice.

Exterior

Exterior Painting

A full exterior repaint, done properly from start to finish. Exterior paint is your home's first line of defence against New Zealand conditions: harsh UV, driving rain, and coastal salt air. The paint matters, but the preparation matters more.

  • Assessment first. We check every surface before quoting, so there are no surprises halfway through.
  • Thorough preparation. High pressure washing, sanding, filling and priming as each surface requires.
  • The right products. Dulux systems selected for your cladding, your conditions and your exposure.
  • Colour advice included. Guidance through Dulux colour consultants, so the colour works on your home, not just on the sample card.
  • A tidy site. Gardens, paths and outdoor areas protected and left clean every day.
  • A finish that lasts. A repaint that looks great now and protects the home for years.
Interior

Interior Painting

Clean, careful interior painting with real attention to detail. Your home keeps running while we work, and we leave every room ready to enjoy.

  • Your home protected. Furniture and floors covered and kept clean throughout the job.
  • Proper preparation. Holes and cracks filled, surfaces sanded, primed where needed. The finish is only as good as what's under it.
  • A smooth, consistent finish. Walls and ceilings that look right in every light.
  • Minimum disruption. We work room by room and keep the household running around us.
  • Colour advice available. Dulux colour consultation for interiors, if you'd like help choosing.
  • Left clean and tidy. No mess, no leftovers. Just a fresh, finished home.

Dulux Colour & Product Advice

Choosing colours from a sample card is hard. Colours behave differently on a whole wall, in your light, next to your roof and joinery. And the right paint product matters just as much as the right colour.

That's why we work with Dulux consultants on every job. You get professional guidance on two things:

  • Colour advice. Colours that genuinely suit your home, inside and out, chosen with a consultant rather than guessed from a chart.
  • Product selection. The right paint system for each surface and situation: the product that will last on your cladding, in your conditions, in your climate.

Most painters skip this step. We think it's just part of doing the job properly.

Not sure what your home needs?

That's exactly what we're here for. We'll assess it honestly and tell you what the right approach looks like, even if that means less work than you expected.
